Part.B

A:

A:

A:

A:

A:

A:

A:

Interview with Kuo Yen Fu – Part.B

[Art work is actually similar to the nature of performing arts work, I just change the stage]

[Travel is the process of every observation for me]

[There is a hidden secret in the suitcase! ]

Why did you step into the art world?

Q:We all know that you are an amphibious character in performing arts and art work. Can you talk to us about why you would like to step into the art work circle?

A:

I started to study painting when I was about five years old. It counted for more than 30 years. I have always regarded this as a record of my life in my daily life. No matter how happy or unhappy I am, I used to use painting to record my life. I spent a lap in the entertainment industry. Until 2013, I began to feel that I could slowly share my interest in growing up.

The link between me and the Luggage

Q:In the series of 2017 and 2018, what do you think is the biggest change? And what factors contributed to this change?

A:

Artists often move around with their suitcases. The biggest change in this is that you can observe any possibility of the suitcase and accompany you to the ends of the earth. The theme of the suitcase made me see more of the role of “accompanying” me.

Q:What is the biggest benefit of travel in your creative career? Can you share with us the inspiration for your creation and life?

A:

Travel is the process of observation for me. I enjoy a person in a coffee shop, watching people coming and going outside the window, people in different regions have different habits and different life rhythms. This inspired me to create a lot of inspiration and thoughts, and I was very happy and excited. I will spend a lot of time to complete all the atmosphere, pictures, opinions, and reasons that the work will present.

Q:What is the opportunity for you to start to pay attention to what is in everyone’s suitcase (ex everyone has its own uniqueness, conflict and compromise caused by the uniqueness of each person’s personality)

A:

I have been hosting the location program for 8 years. During this period, it was actually very hard. The time of the flight we take is mostly the unpopular time. At this time, I will observe the status of each individual’s travel, the relationship with the companions, the appearance of getting along, etc. It is very intriguing! Sometimes the state is not the surface we see, and then continue to think about the state inside the suitcase? I found that it would present a contour reflected by the state of mind, a secret that could not be hidden! We have this secret, we are all hiding!

Important elements of creating

Q:What kind of observation do you think artists/artists need most? What are the elements? (The point that must be explained and explained in the observation of human nature)

A:

I think that an important element of the artist’s creation is sensibility. In a person’s life, he will experience family, work, love, and human emotions, the appearance of the public, the pursuit of ideals, and so on. Feel a little change in life in a seemingly ordinary and trivial life, and strengthen and magnify your senses and opinions about each event.

Q:Do you have the most appreciated artist or person? Who is it? Can you tell us about it?

A:

Every artist has the merits worth learning.

Future plan

Q:Can you talk to us about the plans for your exhibition in the near future? Or is it a new creative direction?

A:

This year’s project will be exhibited in Shanghai. At present, I will continue to explore the theme of the suitcase.
